With her quirky fashion sense and ever changing style Rihanna is becoming quite a style icon.

As she arrived at the recording studio in New York this week she was once again spotted with a radical new hair cut. This time the singer has taken her style even shorter, shaving the sides of her head but leaving a long middle section which she had dyed blonde and slicked back.

Her look as usual was edgy; she wore a leather jacket, ripped jeans over fishnet tights and a pair of open ankle boots. The only part of her signature look which was missing was her designer sunglasses. No matter how she’s wearing her hair at the time normally she isn’t seen without a pair of the latest Fendi designer sunglasses but this time her face was distinctly bare.

Rihanna is currently recording her latest album (which as yet is untitled) in New York. The album will feature collaborations with singers such as Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo and Akon.

Yesterday, 13th October, the Barbadian singer posted her very first post on the social network site “Twitter” which simply read “The wait is Ova. Nov 23 09” signalling the long awaited release date of her next album. After joining twitter the 21 year old singer had more than 21,000 followers within just 35 minutes.

With that many admirers it’s certain that her style is much sort after. It may not always be possible, or advisable, to copy her hairstyles or clothes choice but one part of Rihanna’s style which you can easily copy is her choice of Fendi designer sunglasses.
