There are several safe locks available in the market whcich can provide a complete security to your home. All the exterior doors should be checked. Door's condition and material matters a lot, If the door is not in good condition, the most expensive and secure lock will not be of much use. If there is a glass door, it must be of unbreakable material.

Next point is the security of the windows. If you want to keep a widow for ventilation, fix a grill and net to avoid "theives". For windows, it is not needed on high preferences to fix expensive locks. A nail or a metal pin, if properly used, may be all that is needed.
